Foretoken's founder & CEO is Jason Rowlett, an entrepreneur based in Austin, Texas. Jason founded Foretoken in 2023 after covering the cryptocurrency markets as a journalist, podcaster, and media correspondent for other publications.

​​He founded Foretoken to educate people about the rising sub-sector of the cryptocurrency markets: real-world assets. Jason believes RWAs are a leading force in decentralized finance.

Jason got into crypto in 2020 when bitcoin first hit $6,000. Not understanding crypto at that time, he realized there must be advantages that others knew about and he set out to learn.​​

A speaker of English and Dutch, Jason is also an author, keynote speaker, and panelist who has spoken at cryptocurrency conferences in Europe.
